Fill in a PDF form online
Open a PDF with form fields and click the blue boxes to fill them in. For a plain PDF without fields, use the text tool to write onto the page. Your file is never uploaded.
How it works
- Open the PDF Choose a file or drop a PDF onto the page.
- Switch to the form tool Pick the form tool in the toolbar; the form fields on the page show as blue boxes.
- Fill in each field Click a text box and type, click a checkbox to tick it and again to clear it, and open a dropdown to choose a value.
- Export Click "Export PDF" and what you filled in is written into the new file.
Good to know
- If the document is just a page laid out like a form, with no clickable fields, use "Add text" and click on the line or blank to type; check and cross stamps work too.
- For dates, the date stamp inserts today's date automatically.
- An encrypted form needs its open password first, and the exported file is not encrypted.
FAQ
Why can't I click some of the boxes?
The PDF may have no interactive form fields and just look like a form. Use "Add text" to write onto the right spot instead.
Is what I type uploaded anywhere?
No. The form is filled and exported in your browser, and the content never leaves your device.
