## How it works

1. **Open the PDF** Choose a file or drop a PDF onto the page.
2. **Click "Insert image"** Pick a local image (PNG, JPG and so on) and it lands on the current page; you can also paste an image.
3. **Adjust position and size** Drag the image into place and drag a corner to resize. To use it on another page, copy it and drag the copy there.
4. **Export** Click "Export PDF" and the image is drawn into the new file.

## Good to know

- A PNG with a transparent background — a stamp, logo or handwritten signature — keeps its transparency, so it will not leave a white box over text.
- You can also add an image as a page of its own: open the image file or pick it with "Add pages", then export, which converts the image to a PDF.
- Very large images make export slower and the file bigger; shrink the image first if needed.
